稱儁（遵峻反白虎通云百人曰儁千人曰英倍英曰賢左傳儁絕異也說文作俊者才過千人曰俊從人夋聲義與俊字同夋音七旬反）。

稱儁 (*zun* + *jun* [fanqie]. The *Baihu tong* says: "One among a hundred is called 儁; one among a thousand is called 英; double an 英 is called 賢." The *Zuozhuan* [says]: "儁 means extraordinarily exceptional." The *Shuowen* writes it as 俊: "One whose talent surpasses a thousand men is called 俊; composed of the person radical with 夋 as the phonetic." Its meaning is the same as the character 俊. 夋 is *qi* + *xun* [fanqie].)
