挫外道 (The first character is *zu* + *wo* [fanqie]. Zheng's commentary on the *Liji* says: "挫 means to break." Jia Kui's commentary on the *Guoyu* says: "To break the edge is called 挫." The *Shuowen* [says]: "To break down; composed of the hand radical with 坐 as the phonetic.")
