縉紳（上音晉說文帛作赤白色曰縉左傳有縉雲氏莊子有縉紳先生下音申孔注論語云紳大帶也垂之於前書以記事之）。

縉紳 (The first character is pronounced 晉. The Shuowen says: “Silk woven red and white is called 縉 [jìn].” In the Zuozhuan there is the Jin Yun clan; in the Zhuangzi there is Master Jinshen. The second character is pronounced 申. Kong's commentary on the Lunyu says: “紳 [shēn] is a great sash worn hanging down in front, on which records were written to remember things”).
