牙匳（獵占反考聲從匚作匳正體字也似合而有棱節所以斂物者也桂苑珠叢從竹作籢即盛鏡器也案匳者有香匳有象鏡匳之用今云牙匳即象牙合子也）。

牙匳 (Pronounced with the fanqie 獵 + 占. The Kaosheng writes it with 'box' [匚] as 匳, which is the standard form; it resembles a lidded box with ridges and joints, used for storing things. The Guiyuan zhucong writes it with 'bamboo' [竹] as 籢, which is an implement for holding a mirror. Examining the lian, there are incense boxes and also those used for elephant-mirrors; here, 'ivory lian' refers to an ivory lidded box).
