銓次（七宣反廣雅云銓猶具也爾雅云銓律銓也郭璞注云法律所以詮量輕重也杜注左傳云次也說文衡也從金全聲也）。

銓次 (Pronounced with the fanqie 七 + 宣. The Guangya states: "Quan is like preparing/arranging." The Erya states: "Quan is legal calibration [律銓]." Guo Pu's commentary states: "Laws and regulations are that by which lightness and heaviness are appraised." Du's commentary to the Zuo zhuan states: "To order/sequence." The Shuowen states: "A steelyard balance; formed from 'metal' [金] with 'complete' [全] as phonetic").
