篡弑（芻患反說文云逆奪取曰篡從厶篡聲下尸至反白虎通云弑猶煞也言臣子殺其君父曰弑說文亦云臣煞君也從殺省式聲）。

篡弑 (usurping and regicide): The fanqie 芻 (ch-) + 患 (huàn) [cuàn]. The Shuowen jiezi says: "To seize unlawfully is called 篡. It takes 厶 as semantic component and 篡 as phonetic component." The second character is the fanqie 尸 (sh-) + 至 (zhì) [shì]. The Baihu tong says: "弑 is like killing; it refers to a minister killing his ruler or a son killing his father, which is called 弑." The Shuowen jiezi also says: "A minister killing his ruler. It takes an abbreviated 殺 as semantic component and 式 as phonetic component."
