抉目 ('to gouge out the eyes'; the first character has the fanqie yuan + yue [jué]. The Tongsu wen says: 'Jue means to pick out.' 挑 has the fanqie tian + diao [tiāo]. 淵 has the fanqie hui + yuan [yuān]).
