佩觿 (Wearing an ivory bodkin: the first is *bu-mwoj* [pèi]; Zheng's commentary on the Liji says: "Objects worn on the body are called *pei*." The Shuowen [says]: "A large sash pendant; formed with the person radical and phonetic *bèi*; there must be a kerchief, hence formed with the cloth radical; the cloth is an ornament." The second is *xjo-kwjij* [xī]; the Maoshi commentary says: "The *xi* is what is used to untie knots, denoting the bearing of an adult." Zheng's commentary on the Liji says: "Shaped like an awl, made of elephant bone." The Shuowen [says]: "Formed with the horn radical and phonetic *guī*." In the transmission, written as 觿 is an erroneous popular form; *guī* is *huì-guī* [xī/guī]).
