烹鮮 [cooking fish] (The first character is pronounced with the fanqie 拍盲 [peng]. The Wenzi jilüe says: 'Boiling water to cook food.' The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 銑延 [xian]. The standard form in the Shuowen takes three fish radicals [鱻]; the transmission text writes 鮮, a popular variant used interchangeably).
