慙赧（下搦簡反爾雅面愧曰赧說文亦面慙赤也從赤𠬝聲傳從皮作𧹞俗）。

Ashamed and blushing (慙赧): the second character has the fanqie 搦簡 [nǎn]. The Erya states: 'Shame on the face is called 赧.' The Shuowen jiezi also says: 'The face reddening in shame.' Composed of 赤 ('red') with 𠬝 phonophore. In transmission, written with 皮 ('skin') as 𧹞, which is vulgar.
