坡陀（上破波反考聲云坂也亦作陂岥岥岮邪下貌也爾雅亦坡者則坂也說文從土皮聲下馱何反）。

坡陀 (The first character is po [破] + bo [波] fanqie. The Kaosheng says: 'A slope; it is also written as bei (陂) or po (岥).' Poduo (岥岮) is the appearance of sloping downward. The Erya also says: 'Po is a slope.' The Shuowen jiezi says it has tu 'earth' as semantic and pi (皮) as phonetic. The second character is tuo [馱] + he [何] fanqie).
