宸眷（上是人反文字典說宸至宇也天子有紫宸殿皆天子所居之屋也從宀音綿辰聲下俱願反尚書皇天眷命孔注眷視也說文顧也從目龹音眷聲傳作睠誤也）。

宸眷 (The first character is shi [是] + ren [人] fanqie. The Wenzidian shuo says: 'Chen (宸) is the eaves of a palatial structure. The Son of Heaven has the Zichen Hall; all refer to the buildings where the Son of Heaven dwells.' It has mian 'roof' as semantic and chen (辰) as phonetic. The second character is ju [俱] + yuan [願] fanqie. The Shangshu says: 'August Heaven looked kindly with its mandate.' Kong Anguo's commentary says: 'Juan (眷) means to look upon.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'To look back.' It has mu 'eye' as semantic and juan (龹) as phonetic. In the transmission, writing it as juan (睠) is mistaken).
