錯綜（上蒼各反孔注尚書錯雜也說文從金昔聲下宗送反說文綜縷持絲交者也從糸宗聲）。

錯綜 (Interweaving and synthesizing: the first is *tsʰang-kak* [cuò]; Kong's commentary on the Shangshu says: "*Cuo* means mixed." The Shuowen [says]: "Formed with the metal radical and phonetic *xi*." The second is *tsowng-sowng* [zòng]; the Shuowen [says]: "*Zong* means the heddle cords holding interlaced threads; formed with the silk radical and phonetic *zong*").
