司隸（音戾春秋傳曰司[(上/矢)*(企-止+米)]掌五[(上/矢)*(企-止+米)]之法杜注左傳隸賤官也古今正字從米入[上/矢]聲）。

司隸 (Director of Retainers: pronounced *lì*; the Chunqiu commentary says: "The Minister of Bandits oversees the laws of the five bandits." Du's commentary on the Zuozhuan says: "A retainer is a lowly officer." The Gujin zhengzi [says]: "Formed with grain entering the [arrow] radical").
