Gather and collect (捃摭, the first character is pronounced with the fanqie initial [居] and final [運]; the second character is pronounced with the fanqie initial [之] and final [石]; the Fangyan says: '捃 means to take'; the Shuowen jiezi says: '摭 means to pick up'; both take the radical 手, and 君 and 庶 are their respective phonetics).
