其盾（殊允反鄭注周禮盾于櫓之屬也又曰盾可以藩蔽者也說文亦瞂也所以扜身也蔽曰象形之字也）。

其盾 (shu and yun in fanqie. Zheng's commentary to the Zhouli says: "Shields belong to the category of bulwarks and pavises." It also says: "A shield is that which can serve as a fence or screen." The Shuowen says: "Also called a fa; that which is used to protect the body." It screens the sun; a pictographic character.)
