摶飇（上叚鸞反聲類摶捉也說文從手專聲下匹遙反爾雅扶搖謂之颷郭注云暴風上下者也從風猋聲也）。

摶飇 (seizing the whirlwind: the first character is jia3 [false] + luan2 [phoenix] fanqie. The Shenglei states: 'Tuan (摶) means to grasp.' The Shuowen jiezi states: 'It takes 手 as radical and zhuan1 as phonetic.' The lower character is pi3 [mate] + yao2 [distant] fanqie. The Erya states: 'A swirling wind (fuyao) is called biao (颷).' Guo's commentary states: 'A violent wind that moves up and down.' It takes 風 as radical and biao1 as phonetic).
