蟄蟲（上直立反月令云蟄藏也季秋之月蟄蟲咸俯孟春之月蟄蟲始振說文從虫執聲下音神論文作此虫音毀非也）。

Hibernating insects (蟄蟲, the first char. fanqie: 直立; the Yueling says, '蟄 means to hide; in the last month of autumn, hibernating insects all burrow face down; in the first month of spring, hibernating insects first stir.' The Shuowen jiezi says it is formed from 虫 with 執 as phonetic. The second char. has the sound 神; the treatise text writes it with this 虫, which is pronounced 毀 and is incorrect).
