Distant expectation [[奐-大+((〡*目)/一/乂)]期] (休 plus 盛 fanqie. Liu Zhao's commentary on the *Hanshu* states: "敻 means deep and distant." The *Guliang zhuan* states: "敻 entering a country of a thousand li; it also means to seek out." The *Shuowen* has it composed of 敻 and of a person above a cave [穴]; 𡕥 is pronounced 火 plus 劣 fanqie).
