標牓 (The first character is *b-y-. The Kaosheng says: "標 means to raise up; to write." The Shuowen jiezi says: "Formed from 木 with 票 phonetic." 票 has the same sound. The second character is *b-l-. The Shenyi jing says: "牓 means a placard (標)." The Dian Shuowen says: "It means a board." The Shuowen jiezi says: "Formed from 片 with 旁 phonetic." In the treatise it is written with 木 as 榜, which is an error.)
