紐地維（昵九反廣雅紐束也說文繫也從糸丑聲論從刃作紉音尼隣反說文單繩也非地維義也）。

紐地維 (*n-j-: The Guangya says: "紐 means to bind." The Shuowen jiezi says: "To tie. Formed from 糸 with 丑 phonetic." In the treatise it is written with 刃 as 紉, pronounced *n-l-. The Shuowen jiezi says: "A single cord;" this does not fit the meaning of "cords of the earth.")
