譎詭（上涓穴反方言云關東西謂詐為譎也鄭注論語云詐也古今正字云欺謬天下曰譎從言矞聲矞音巨聿反下音歸委反考聲云詭謮也說文亦責也從言危聲謮音責）。

譎詭 (The first syllable has the fanqie 涓穴 [jué]. The Fangyan says: "East and west of the Pass, deception is called 譎 [jué]." Zheng [Xuan's] commentary to the Analects says: "Deceptive." The Gujin zhengzi says: "To deceive and mislead all under heaven is called 譎 [jué]." It takes 言 [yán] as semantic and 矞 [yù] as phonetic. 矞 has the fanqie 巨聿 [yù]. The second syllable has the fanqie 歸委 [guǐ]. The Kaosheng says: "詭 [guǐ] means to rebuke/deceive." The Shuowen jiezi also says: "To blame/deceive." It takes 言 [yán] as semantic and 危 [wēi] as phonetic. 謮 is pronounced 責 [zé].)
