闑衡 (The first syllable has the fanqie 魚列 [niè]. Zheng [Xuan's] commentary to the Liji and Guo [Pu's] commentary to the Erya both say: "闑 [niè] is the threshold post in the middle of a gate." The Shuowen jiezi has the same meaning. It takes 門 [mén] as semantic and 臬 [niè] as phonetic. 臬 has the same pronunciation as above.)
