遒遠（情由反廣雅云遒怱近也毛詩傳曰遒終也孔注尚書云遒人宣令之官也說文從辵酋聲酋音同）。

遒遠 (The fanqie is 情由 [qiú]. The Guangya says: "遒 [qiú] means urgent and close." The Mao Commentary to the Shijing says: "遒 means to bring to an end." Kong [Anguo's] commentary to the Shangshu says: "The herald (qiuren) was an official who promulgated orders." The Shuowen jiezi says it takes 辵 [chuò] as semantic and 酋 [qiú] as phonetic. 酋 has the same pronunciation.)
