小愆（丘言反孔注尚書云愆過也杜注左傳失也說文罪也從心衍聲或從偘從言作𠐨亦通也）。

小愆 (The fanqie is [qiu + yan] 丘言. Kong's commentary to the Shangshu states: "愆 means a fault." Du's commentary to the Zuozhuan states: "An error." The Shuowen states: "A crime; it takes its component from 心 [mind/heart] and ‹衍› as its phonetic." Alternatively written with ‹偘› or with 言 [speech] as 𠐨, which is also acceptable.)
