Pearl of the black dragon (驪珠: the first [character] is *li-zhi* [l- + -í = lí] in fanqie; Zhuangzi says: “A pearl worth a thousand pieces of gold is surely in the depths of a ninefold abyss beneath the chin of a black dragon; you may obtain it only if you happen upon the dragon asleep; had the dragon awoken, how could you have gotten it?” The Wenzi dianshuo states: “Categorized under 'horse' with 麗 as phonetic; 頷 is *han-gan* [h- + -àn = hàn] in fanqie”).
