帝系譜（下逋普反史記云稽諸譜牒釋名云譜布也古今正字云譜𫌾者布列見其事從言普聲轉注字）。

帝系譜 (The lower [character] is bu + pu [pǔ]. The Records of the Grand Historian says: "Investigating the genealogical charts and registers..." The Shiming says: "譜 means to distribute (bù)." The Gujin zhengzi says: "A genealogical table (pǔ) is to set out in order and display matters; it derives from 言 [speech] with 普 as phonetic, being a mutually defining character (zhuǎnzhù).")
