Distant and vast 眇𣾘 (the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 彌 + 小; Wang Yi's commentary on the Songs of Chu says: "Miao describes looking far into the distance." The Shuowen jiezi states that it takes the eye radical 目 and the phonetic 少. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 莫 + 朗; Wang Yi's commentary on the Songs of Chu says: "Vast, flat, and level." The Gujin zhengzi states that it takes the water radical 水 and the phonetic 莾; 莾 has the same pronunciation as 丘).
