Inspect and examine (慰閱; the second character is pronounced with the fanqie 緣拙. Zheng's commentary to the Liji says: "閱 means to inspect." The Kaosheng says: "It means to inspect achievements and deeds." The Gujin zhengzi gives it with the radical 門 and 兊 as phonetic).
