庖炎（上鮑交反許慎說文序云古者庖犧氏王天下也始作易垂憲而及炎帝即庖炎義也說文從广包聲广音儼）。

Pao and Yan (庖炎; the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 鮑交. Xu Shen's preface to the Shuowen says: "In antiquity, Paoxi ruled over all under heaven; he first created the Changes and laid down model institutions; down to the Flame Emperor [Yandi]"; this is the meaning of Pao and Yan. The Shuowen gives it with the radical 广 and 包 as phonetic; 广 is sounded 儼).
