赧王（寧簡反周末王謚號也考聲云赧羞慙面赤也方言云愧也爾雅云面愧曰赧說文從赤及聲也及音展從皮非也）。

赧王 (ning + jian [nǎn]. The posthumous title of the last king of Zhou. The Kaosheng says: "赧 means blushing red in shame and embarrassment." The Fangyan says: "To feel ashamed." The Erya says: "Face blushing with shame is called 赧." The Shuowen [notes that it] derives from 赤 [red] with 及 as phonetic; 及 is pronounced zhan [zhǎn]. Deriving from 皮 is incorrect.)
