言誼（冝寄反鄭玄注禮記云𧨏者制事之冝也王弼注周易𧨏猶理也毛詩傳云善也冝也說文人所冝也從言冝聲）。

言誼 [proper words]: Read with the fanqie yi + ji. Zheng Xuan's commentary on the Liji says: 'Yi means the propriety of ordering affairs.' Wang Bi's commentary on the Zhouyi says: 'Yi is like principle.' The Mao Commentary on the Shijing says: 'Good; fitting.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'What is fitting for people; composed of speech (言) with yi (冝) as phonetic.'
