Although secondary (雖䔏: [䔏 is] *chou* [*chòu* / chū shòu], Du's commentary on the Zuozhuan says: '䔏 means secondary.' The Kaosheng says: 'Interspersed.' The Gujin zhengzi says: '[Derived] from 草 with a 造 phonogram.' In the treatise it is written with 竹 as 簉, which is an error).
