煢𡠉（上揆營反孔注尚書云煢單也鄭注周禮無兄弟曰煢毛詩傳無所依也說文從卂熒省聲或作惸與論同亦作嬛下理之反考聲云𡠉寡婦也論作釐誤也）。

Destitute and widowed (煢𡠉: the former is *qiong* [*qióng* / kuí yíng], Kong's commentary on the Shangshu says: 'Qiong means solitary.' Zheng's commentary on the Zhouli says: 'Having no brothers is called qiong.' Mao's Commentary on the Shijing says: 'Having no one to rely on.' The Shuowen says: '[Derived] from 卂 with an abbreviated 熒 phonogram; sometimes written 惸, identical to the treatise; also written 嬛.' The latter is *li* [*lí* / lǐ zhī], the Kaosheng says: '𡠉 means widow; in the treatise it is written 釐, which is incorrect').
