淴滑（上音忽下音骨考聲云淴滑大水混流貌也滑亂也水圜轉旋流湍波大也）。

淴滑 Rushing and surging: the first character is pronounced 忽 (hū); the second is pronounced 骨 (gǔ). The Kaosheng says: '淴滑 describes the appearance of vast waters mingling and rushing. 滑 means chaotic; it refers to the swirling, turning, and surging torrent of waters being immense.'
