爇除 Burned away and eliminated: the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 壖 + 拙. Du's commentary on the Zuo Commentary says: '𤑔 (ruò) means to burn.' The Shuowen writes it as 𤑔, taking the fire radical (火) and 執 for phonetic.
