湮滅（上一寅反賈注國語云湮下也爾雅落也說文沒也從水垔聲垔同音上）。

湮滅 (The upper character is pronounced 一 + 寅 fanqie. Jia's commentary to the *Guoyu* says: "湮 means sunken." The *Erya* says: "Fallen." The *Shuowen* says: "Submerged." It takes the water classifier [水] and is phonetic in 垔; 垔 has the same sound as the upper entry).
