鸋鴂（上侫丁反下蠲穴反廣雅云鸋鳺果羸飛女匠工雀也方言桑飛自關而東謂之鸋鳺俗名巧婦小鳥也說文並從鳥寧夬皆聲也夫音古快反也）。

鸋鴂 (ning jue: the first is fanqie 侫丁; the second is fanqie 蠲穴. Guangya says: 'The ningjue is the guoluo, feinv, jiangong, and bird-weaver.' Fangyan says: 'The mulberry creeper (sangfei) is called ningjue east of the Pass; commonly known as the clever-wife bird, a small bird.' Shuowen jiezi says: 'Both take 鳥 [bird] as semantic, with 寧 and 夬 as their phonetics.' 夫 is fanqie 古快).
