焴爚（上融宿反埤蒼云光曜貌也廣雅熾也下陽削反說文云爚火光也二字並從火育龠皆聲傳作[虫*蘥]非也焴或作煜）。

焴爚 [Blazing and glittering] (The upper character is pronounced with the fanqie 融宿. The Picang says: 'The appearance of gleaming brightness.' The Guangya says: 'Flourishing; blazing.' The lower character is pronounced with the fanqie 陽削. The Shuowen says: '爚 means the light of fire.' Both characters take 火 [fire] as semantic classifier, with 育 and 龠 as phonetics. Transmitted texts write it as [虫*蘥], which is incorrect. 焴 is sometimes written as 煜).
