眷眄（厥倦反毛詩傳眷顧也孔注尚書視也說文從目卷省聲下莫遍反說文眄目偏合邪視也從目從丐聲丐音彌演反）。

Gaze upon (眷眄: [First character] jué-juàn fan; the Mao commentary on the Shijing states that juàn means to look back fondly. Kong's commentary on the Shangshu states it means to look. The Shuowen [jiezi] states it is composed of 'eye' [目] with an abbreviated juǎn [卷] phonetic. [Second character] mò-biàn fan; the Shuowen [jiezi] states that miǎn means to squint sideways with one eye, and is composed of 'eye' [目] with gài [丐] phonetic; gài is pronounced mí-yǎn fan).
