刳斮（苦姑反孔注尚書刳剔也說文從刀夸聲下側略反孔注尚書斮折也爾雅削也廣雅斷也說文從斤昔聲）。

Rip open and sever (刳斮: [First character] kǔ-gū fan; Kong's commentary on the Shangshu states that kū means to cut open. The Shuowen [jiezi] states it is composed of 'knife' [刀] with kuā [夸] phonetic. [Second character] zè-lüè fan; Kong's commentary on the Shangshu states that zhuó means to break. The Erya states it means to peel. The Guangya states it means to cut off. The Shuowen [jiezi] states it is composed of 'axe' [斤] with xī [昔] phonetic).
