彞章（以脂反鄭注禮記云彞法也爾雅常也尚書彝倫攸敘是也說文從糸米廾⺕）。

Constant statutes (彞章): [The first character is pronounced] *yi* + *zhi* fan. Zheng [Xuan's] commentary on the Book of Rites says: 'An *yi* (彞) is a rule/model.' The Erya says: 'It means constant.' The Book of Documents states: 'The constant social bonds (彝倫) are thereby arranged.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It is formed from [the components] *mi* (糸), *mi* (米), *gong* (廾), and *ji* (⺕).'
