暨迺（上音洎下音乃杜注左傳至也韻英云及也說文頗見也從旦既聲也）。

暨迺 (The upper character has the sound 洎; the lower character has the sound 乃. Du's commentary to the *Zuo zhuan* says: "It means to arrive." The *Yunying* says: "It means to reach." The *Shuowen* says: "To appear moderately." It takes the morning classifier [旦] and is phonetic in 既).
