天溓（下理兼反蒼頡篇云溓淹也宋忠注太玄經云溓然括靜貌也顧野王云王者之政太平則有河溓海夷之瑞也說文從水兼聲）。

天溓 (the second character has the fanqie: 理 + 兼 [lián]). The Cang Jie pian says: 'Lián means immersion.' Song Zhong's commentary on the Taixuanjing says: 'Liánrán indicates an appearance of containment and tranquility.' Gu Yewang says: 'When a king's governance brings universal peace, there are the auspicious omens of a placid Yellow River and calm seas.' The Shuowen [indicates that] it takes 水 as radical and 兼 as phonetic.
