碑文(上彼眉反眾碑者刻石紀功也釋名云碑述君父之功美德以書其上漢惠帝為四皓立碑說文從石卑聲)。

碑文 (the first character has the fanqie: 彼 + 眉 [bēi]). Various stelae (bēi) are stones carved to record merits. The Shiming says: 'A stele recounts the meritorious and fine virtues of a lord or father, writing them upon it. Emperor Hui of the Han erected stelae for the Four White-headed Recluses.' The Shuowen [indicates that] it takes 石 as radical and 卑 as phonetic.
