駿捷（上遵峻反爾雅云駿速也郭注云疾也說文良馬也從馬夋聲夋音千旬反下潛葉反毛詩傳云捷勝也杜注左傳云捷克也說文云捷亦獵也從手疌聲音同上獵音廉輒反）。

駿捷 (the first character has the fanqie: 遵 + 峻 [jùn]). The Erya says: 'Jùn means swift.' Guo's commentary says: 'Fast.' The Shuowen says: 'A fine steed.' It takes 馬 as radical and 夋 as phonetic; 夋 has the fanqie 千 + 旬 [qūn]. The second character has the fanqie: 潛 + 葉 [jié]. The Mao commentary on the Shijing says: 'Jié means victorious.' Du's commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: 'Jié means to overcome.' The Shuowen says: 'Jié also means to capture in a hunt.' It takes 手 as radical and 疌 as phonetic; the pronunciation is the same as above. Hunt (獵) has the fanqie 廉 + 輒 [liè].
