舛雜 (the first character has the fanqie: 川 + 兖 [chuǎn]). The Guangya says: 'Chuǎn means contrary.' Gu Yewang says: 'Mismatched and uneven.' The Shuowen says: 'Lying opposite one another; it takes 多 lying back-to-back as an associative compound.'
