羅閱（以拙反案阿闍世王經云羅閱祇晉言王舍城此應訛也正言羅閱揭梨醯羅閱義是斷理以王代之謂能斷理人民也揭梨醯此云舍中總名王舍城在摩伽陀國中城名）。

Luoyue (羅閱, fanqie 以拙 [y/zhuo]). According to the Scripture on King Ajātaśatru, it says 'Luoyueqi', which in the Jin language is 'City of the Royal Abode' (Rājagṛha); this must be corrupt. Correctly spoken it is Luoyue-jielixi (Rājagṛha). The meaning of luoyue is 'to judge and regulate'; replacing it with 'king' refers to the ability to judge and regulate the populace. Jielixi (gṛha) here means 'abode'. In general it is named Rājagṛha ('City of the Royal Abode'), which is the name of a city in the country of Magadha.
