乞匃 (fanqie: 古 + 賴. The Cangjiepian says: '匃 means begging, going about to seek and request'. The Tongsuwen says: 'Praying and beseeching is called 匃'. The character is composed of 人 [person] and 亾 [loss], meaning when a person has lost their means of support, they go about begging).
