巫祝（武俱反下之育反無形也謂事鬼神曰巫祭主贊辭曰祝也說文在女曰巫在男曰覡音形狄反）。

巫祝 (Shamans and invocators: [巫 is] *wu-ju* fanqie [wū]; below [祝 is] *zhi-yu* fanqie [zhù]; without physical form. Serving ghosts and spirits is called 巫; an officiant at a sacrifice who recites invocations is called 祝. The Shuowen jiezi says: 'A female is called 巫; a male is called 覡, pronounced *xing-di* fanqie [xí].')
